Article writing in Kenya is quickly picking up pace as a means of earning money online. Article writing entails writing short articles on virtually any topic. The articles need research but are usually short around one page on Microsoft word usually between 150 words to 500 words. It takes around an hour to as little as 20 minutes to write an article depending on your skills as a writer.
Clearly it seem like on of the easiest methods to earn money online, right? Actually its not as easy as you might think. First of all the sites you will be writing for are strict and the articles are also quite prone to rejection if they are not up to certain standards.
But do not despair. you can earn a living by writing articles online. First you need to learn how to write articles. Not just plain English articles but good articles with a flowing story that is easy for the reader to understand. Next you need to learn about search engine optimization or SEO as it is more commonly know. This enables your articles to have a higher rank on Google searches.
Next after learning how to write proper articles you need to learn how to earn money on the articles you have written. There are sites that you earn money directly for articles that have been accepted and there are sites that will share revenue you have earned by Google ad-sense with you depending on how many times your article has been viewed.

Where people write blogs and have websites that need a constant stream of articles. So where do they get these articles? A few of them write their own articles like myself but most buy articles from article writers. So it is an online business that is still on the rise. So maybe it just might be you method of earning money online in Kenya.
