Article writing to earn money in kenya
Article writing in Kenya is quickly picking up pace as a means of earning money online. Article writing entails writing short articles on virtually any topic. The articles need research but are usually short around one page on Microsoft word usually between 150 words to 500 words. It takes around an hour to as little as 20 minutes to write an article depending on your skills as a writer.
Clearly it seem like on of the easiest methods to earn money online, right? Actually its not as easy as you might think. First of all the sites you will be writing for are strict and the articles are also quite prone to rejection if they are not up to certain standards.
But do not despair. you can earn a living by writing articles online. First you need to learn how to write articles. Not just plain English articles but good articles with a flowing story that is easy for the reader to understand. Next you need to learn about search engine optimization or SEO as it is more commonly know. This enables your articles to have a higher rank on Google searches.
Next after learning how to write proper articles you need to learn how to earn money on the articles you have written. There are sites that you earn money directly for articles that have been accepted and there are sites that will share revenue you have earned by Google ad-sense with you depending on how many times your article has been viewed.
I shall go into greater depth on how to earn money writing articles in the next blog post but what you should note is that we are living in the era of information. Where people write blogs and have websites that need a constant stream of articles. So where do they get these articles? A few of them write their own articles like myself but most buy articles from article writers. So it is an online business that is still on the rise. So maybe it just might be you method of earning money online in Kenya.
Academic writing students opportunities for making money
Currently i can say that academic writing in Kenya is one of the most widely used means of earning money online. Academic writing involves writing essays on academics for other people mostly people from developed countries.
Though the practice is shunned upon by those in the academic circles because it means people are getting grades and marks that they have literally paid for but to some it is a means of earning a living.
So question how do you do it? First of all essay writing is one of the most strict forms of earning money online. You need to learn how to write using various writing styles such as APA, MLA, Harvard referencing and Chicago turban.
Most importantly is that you need to avoid plagiarism. Plagiarism is the use of another persons research, words and even ideas without their consent. Any form of plagiarism normally tends to mean no payment, fines and even discontinuation of your services by the organisations that are outsourcing to you.
So how do you start academic writing? First of all you need an account in various organisations that offer academic writing services. Some of these sites include www.essaywriters.net , www.uvocorp.com, www.academia-research.com and others. These are international sites commonly used by those doing essay writing in Kenya.
The main issue is that getting the accounts to work for these companies is next to impossible but there are several methods of getting those accounts. Mostly these accounts give preference to people in developed countries so you need an application that scrambles your computers IP address to give the appearance you are not from a developing country and next you need to ace the tests they give you and then you are free to have an account.
For those who can do this you can instead buy an account from those people who have perfected the art of opening accounts. This usually ranges between 15000 to 80000 depending on the company you will work for. The best thing is that you earn approximately between 3 to 7 dollars per page which is quite an amount to be earning when per day you can do a 10 page essay.
Apart from those international companies we also do have our own home grown companies dealing in essay writing. These include: www.oxl.com and www.professionalwriterskenya.com among others. So is you think this is the niche you need to earn online then try it and as the saying goes. If you never try you never know.

Itiati Robbery: No computers or DSTV left
Itiati yesterday woke up with a shock as they found all the electronic devices in the campus stolen. The computers, the flat screen television as well as the DSTV. The incident took place around 3 am in the morning. The one of the watchmen was found tied up in the morning by Christian Union members who were going for morning prayers. Considering the number of electronics stole, most people believe that a vehicle had to be involved. The remarkable thing is that the other watchmen claim that they did hear anything which raises a lot of questions on whether this was an inside job.
The area OCPD was at the venue within hours of the discovery. The chief security officer as well as the OCPD must have not bought the watchmen's account since they were all arrested as suspects. This situation leaves Itiati campus without any computers in the library. This will make life difficult for students when they want to do research or to type assignments. The Television and DSTV are also going to be missed with football reaching fever point as the season gets to its final lap.
The question on everyone's mind is whether the incident will prompt another strike by Itiati to replace the stolen electronics or will they go on with life as usual without the luxury of electronics.
